Corrosion Control

Artwork by Rose McAllister

Corrosion Control is an exhibition for those that like to see a bit of experimentation in art practice. While a spiritual undertone generates meaning, for me the small works piqued my curiosity. Layers of lace and rusty metal are finished with a glassy surface to successfully create depth and red/rose hues are exquisite and rather feminine.

The artist Rose McAllister is a teacher of Religious Studies at San Clemente High School in Mayfield. This is her first solo exhibition and concludes tomorrow 21st Feb at Art Systems Wickham.
